No new coronavirus cases in McLean County

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department on Friday reported no new cases of coronavirus.

The MCHD said of the 245 confirmed cases there are 13 active. All are isolating at home. 219 people have recovered from the virus and there have been 13 deaths. There are currently no McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID-19.

The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 692 new coronavirus cases and 44 additional deaths. The statewide total now 135,470, including 6,580 deaths. The state’s seven day positivity rate is 3%.
