No new cases in McLean County; 5 more have recovered

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department on Monday reported no new cases of coronavirus.

Local health officials said of the 241 confirmed cases, 14 are in home isolation and 214 have now recovered. There have been 13 deaths in the county.

The MCHD said there are currently no residents in the hospital due to COVID-19. The county’s current positivity rate is 2.3%and the total number of tests through Sunday is over 10,200.

The McLean County Emergency Management Agency said 50 people were tested on Sunday at the COVID-19 testing site at the Interstate Center.

Meanwhile, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 473 new cases of coronavirus and 19 additional deaths. IDPH is reporting a total of 133,016 cases, including 6,326 deaths.
