BLOOMINGTON – Local health officials on Friday announced three new cases of coronavirus, bringing the McLean County total to 239.
The McLean County Health Department says 19 people are currently in home isolation, 207 have recovered, and there have been 13 deaths. The MCHD says for the fourth straight day, there are no McLean County residents in the hospital due to coronavirus.
State health officials are encouraging anyone who has attended a large gathering or protest get tested for COVID-19. The McLean County Emergency Management Agency says the COVID-19 testing site at the fairgrounds administered 101 tests on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported 595 new coronavirus cases and 77 additional deaths. The statewide total now 131,198 cases, including 6,260 deaths.
