SPRINGFIELD – The first week of June was a good one in the fields, says the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service.
Corn is almost fully planted and is ninety percent emerged. Soybeans are 88 percent planted and 67 percent emerged.
Corn condition is rated good-to-excellent for 65 percent of the crop; sixty percent of soybeans are in that condition.
