Virtual vigil held by two Bloomington-Normal groups

BLOOMINGTON – Two groups in McLean County hosted a virtual vigil Thursday night to honor George Floyd, the Minnesota man that died after an altercation with Minneapolis Police.

The virtual event featured music and prayer from several different religious leaders.

Not in Our Town and The Interfaith Alliance also hosted a prayer walk on Thursday morning. Their next walk is Friday morning at 6 a.m. in Uptown Normal.
