McLean County Coroner ID’s Bloomington man as victim of fatal crash

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County coroner has identified a Bloomington man as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash on Saturday.

Coroner Kathleen Yoder said David Peterson, 47, died of blunt injuries due to the motorcycle striking a light pole.

Peterson was the only occupant of the motorcycle.

The coroner was called to the scene at around 1:15 p.m. to Hamilton Road near State Farm Plaza South for a single motorcycle crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
