McLean County health officials announce 4th COVID-19 death

BLOOMINGTON – A fourth McLean County resident has died from coronavirus, according to health officials on Thursday.

The McLean County Health Department also reported nine new cases, the county total now 136. The new cases include four women: one in her 70s; one in her 60s; one in her 50s; and one in her 40s. The others are five men: one in his 80s; one in his 70s; two in his 60s; and one in his 20s.

No other information was immediately available about the fourth death.

Six McLean County residents are currently hospitalized, 25 are in home isolation, and 101 have recovered, according to the MCHD.

Meanwhile, now 87,937 coronavirus cases in Illinois, including 3,928 deaths.
