BLOOMINGTON – Hy-Vee announced that all employees are now required to wear a mask or other facial covering while at work in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
The supermarket chain provided masks to all employees over the past several weeks, according to a news release. Effective Monday, wearing a mask or other facial covering inside Hy-Vee stores is mandatory for employees to help protect both our employees and customers.
This is just one of many measures Hy-Vee has taken. Other efforts include temporary Plexiglass barriers installed at all check stands; social distancing indicators on the floor; one-way directional signage for all aisles; sanitation of all carts; special shopping times.
