Gleason: Social distancing will have a lasting effect

BLOOMINGTON – What will city council meetings look like after the coronavirus pandemic?

Bloomington City Manager Tim Gleason joined Scott Miller Tuesday morning for the WJBC Stay at Home Response Town Hall.

“I don’t know if we’ll have a limit on how many people can attend a council meeting post-COVID-19, but I think this idea of social distancing and how much space there is between people in the audience is very real and something that is going to last forever,” said Gleason.

Gleason said if city council meetings are highly attended after the pandemic, he may have to find a bigger venue.
