Suspect in custody; Triple homicide under investigation

CULLOM – A suspect is in custody after a triple homicide on Christmas morning.

Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson says 911 dispatchers received a call around 2:05 a.m. to the 400 blocks of E. Jackson Street.

Three victims have been identified as a 51-year old male, 48-year old female, and 27-year old male.

First-degree murder charges are pending, and the identity of the suspect has not been released.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending the notification of family members.

The incident is being investigated by the Illinois State Police, Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, and the Livingston County Coroner’s Office.

Cullom is just north of Bloomington-Normal, with a population less than 1,000 people.
