BPD search for two armed robbery suspects

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened late Monday night on the city’s east side.

A man told police two men, one armed with a pistol, made off the an undisclosed amount of cash outside an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Clearwater Avenue.

The victim was not injured. Police say they got the call about 10:45 p.m.

There have been no arrests, and police have not released a description of the robbers. Anyone with information is asked to call Bloomington Police at 309-820-8888 or McLean County Crime Stoppers at 309-828-1111.
