Redbird basketball squads announce MVC schedules

NORMAL – Illinois State men’s and women’s basketball squads have completed their schedules for the upcoming season with the release of the Missouri Valley Conference lineup.

The Redbird men open the Valley season at home on New Year’s Eve against Northern Iowa. Most Valley games are on Wednesdays and Saturdays with just three exceptions. Games against rival Bradley are January 22 in Peoria and February 26 in Normal.

The ISU women again play conference games on Fridays and Sundays until the last week of the regular season. The Redbirds open Valley play at home on January 3 against Indiana State and January 5 against Evansville.
