On the run: BPD still looking for suspect after escaping custody

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police and the Illinois Department of Corrections are still looking for a suspect that allegedly fled after being taken into custody by BPD and IDOC.

On Tuesday morning, IDOC was taking 29-year-old James Snow into custody on an active warrant at Cardinal Ridge trailer park, when Snow allegedly took off on foot and escaped police.

Snow is described as a six foot male, 180 pounds and brown hair. Snow was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray pants and no shoes. Snow is also still handcuffed.

Snow’s prior record includes Residential Burglary, Theft, and escape of a peace officer in 2013. Snow was released from the Illinois River Correctional Center on April 10 for parole.
