ISU remains nationally ranked in publication’s annual report

NORMAL – Illinois State University remains in the top 100 public colleges and universities in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report.

The publication places Illinois State 91st based on factors including student retention, student-to-faculty ratio, financial resources, alumni giving and graduation rates. The rankings also include input from high school counselors and college and university administrators.

The rankings also showed ISU maintained 33 percent of its classes with fewer than 20 students, even with a 10 percent increase in the freshman class.

ISU also has a graduation rate well above the national average according to the report.
