NORMAL – The Unit 5 Superintendent is receiving a bump in his salary.
The Superintendent Evaluation Committee met with Mark Daniel in order to review his performance and compensation for the completion of performance goals for the 2017-2018 school year.
Daniel’s salary for the previous school year was $197,676. He and the Board of Education have agreed on a three percent raise, bringing his salary for the 2018-2019 school year to $203,606.
Daniel, the 12th Superintendent of Unit 5 schools, has worked in education for 29 years. He previously served as the Superintendent of Dowagiac Union Schools in southwest Michigan.
