DEWITT COUNTY – DeWitt County States Attorney is investigating a video posted on social media that depicted a dog being abused.

“We want to add that we determined the dog depicted in the video is no longer in the care of the woman depicted in the video. Our investigation has been completed,” said the DeWitt County Sheriffs Office in a social media post. “The evidence has been forwarded to the DeWitt County State’s Attorneys Office for further action.”

The video has been deleted from social media.
