Shots fired, BPD asking for the public’s help

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are asking for the public’s help after gun shots were fired late Monday evening.

BPD say that officers responded to the 1300 block of W. Jackson St. for a report of shots fired at approximately 11:47 p.m.

BPD say several witnesses reported hearing gunshots, but did not see anything. During a subsequent search of the area, a damaged vehicle was discovered. A projectile and several shell casings were also recovered in the area.

No injuries were reported at the scene and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
