Sheriff’s police arrest second person for Anchor home invasion

BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Sheriff’s Police have arrested a second Saybrook resident for a home invasion that happened early Monday in Anchor.

The sheriff’s department arrested Jaclyn Jones, who’s expected to be formally charged on Wednesday.

Earlier, police took into custody Derek Roesch, 22, for allegedly forcing his way into a house in the 400 block of Second Street in Anchor.

Prosecutors have charged Roesch with home invasion, posessession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a weapon, aggravated assault, and battery.

A judge set bail at $100,000 for Roesch, who must post $10,035 to be released from jail.
