Coroner: Man dies in crash west of Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Sheriff’s Police remain on scene of a fatal crash west of Bloomington early Thursday morning.

Police were called to the scene of the crash on Illinois Route 9, one mile west of Mitsubishi Motorway shortly before 3 a.m.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis has confirmed one man died in the crash. Sheriff’s Police say one other person was hospitalized in the crash. Police have offered few other details so far.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
