Normal updates mulch loading hours

NORMAL – Normal’s Public Works Department has announced new hours for mulch loading starting May 7.

When mulch is available, a loader will be staffed at the Electronics Recycling entrance at 1301 Warriner St. on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Hours will be limited to 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Mulch is available for self-loading 24/7 at the southeast corner of the landscape waste drop site when supplies are available.

The town asks you call ahead to confirm availability at (309) 454-9571.
