NORMAL – A Frontier Communications work truck crashed into a brick house in the 900 block of South Linden Street in Normal this afternoon.
Normal Police reported the work truck jumped the curb, struck a power pole and careened into the driveway of a nearby house. The truck hit a car that was parked in the driveway before crashing into the living room of the house. Police said one of the homeowners was home at the time of the accident, but was not in the living room.
The work truck received significant damage, while the car parked in the driveway sustained minor damages. No injuries were reported.
Normal Police said the driver of the Frontier truck was not speeding or texting.
