School bus overturns after colliding with car, minor injuries reported

BLOOMINGTON – State police say a school bus and a car collided on U.S. 150 just southeast of Evans Junior High School southeast of Bloomington.

The crash occurred before 4 p.m. at the highway’s intersection with Abraham Road. The bus was carrying 46 students and turned onto its side.

State police said several students were treated for minor injuries at local hospitals.

Uninjured students were taken to Evans Junior High to be picked up by parents and guardians.

The crash remains under investigation.
