NORMAL – Governor Bruce Rauner toured the new Destihl Brewery location in Normal Saturday.
“We have all the bases to boom economically. There’s only two reasons that we’re not booming economically,” said Rauner. “Regulations that are excessive, and taxes that are too high.”
He explained the state of Illinois needs more strong business. Rauner wants to end regulations that restrict economic growth.
“If we get rid of our excessive regulations, let businesses thrive, let entrepreneurs take risks, and get a return on their risks, we’ll create far more jobs,” Rauner explained.
