Bloomington man sentenced to 22 years for dealing drugs

BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington drug dealer has been sentenced to 22 years in prison.

McLean County Judge Judge Robert Freitag on Monday issued the sentence for Andrew Pinkston, 47, stemming from his June 2016 arrest for selling cocaine.

Pinkston has had a long criminal history, which includes prior drug and driving offenses along with a 1999 intimidation charge. He served seven years in prison for that offense.

Pinkston acted as his own attorney during his trial last December.
