BLOOMINGTON – Green Top Grocery in Bloomington is now matching $25 in vouchers when customers use their LINK cards.
Green Top received a $20,000 grant to fund matching the LINK cards. Green Top Marketing Manager Rainie Themer said by using a LINK card to purchase groceries, customers can be provided with a voucher to buy $25 worth of local goods.
“They can purchase as much as they like and we will match up to $25 per day and we will give a matching voucher that is good for locally grown produce,” Themer explained.
Themer also said the vouchers given at Green Top can also be used at the Downtown Bloomington Farmer’s Market, and vice versa.
“[The vouchers] are interchangeable at the Downtown Bloomington Farmer’s Market, and I know that this is how the market is running it as well,” said Themer.
Themer says the vouchers must be redeemed by December.
