UPDATE: Missing Bloomington woman’s car found in Mattoon

MATTOON – Mattoon Police have found the car that had been abandoned by Bloomington woman Carmon Edwards, who has been missing since Christmas morning.

Mattoon Police located the vehicle around 7:30 this morning in their town, with no sign of Edwards.

Police have began conducting an aerial search in the hopes of finding Edwards.

Police say Edwards is white, about five feet six inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown-reddish hair. Police say she was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark blue coat.
