Bloomington Police investigating gunshots on Empire Street

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are investigating a report of gunshots that were heard Saturday afternoon in the 2100 block of East Empire Street.

Bloomington officers say they received the call shortly after 2:30 p.m.

Police reported property damage to a window of a nearby apartment that indicated it had been hit during the incident.

No one was injured and no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department or Detective Paul Swanlund at 309-434-2373.
