NORMAL – Art fans in the Twin Cities will soon have their chance to bid on handcrafted, cross-stitched holiday pieces.
The works of art were donated to the Advocate BroMenn Medical Center by a former hospice volunteer.
Jane Osborn, whose mother stiched the art, said she wanted her family’s work to be shared and to help spread the holiday cheer.
“It’s the perfect time, the time when you miss the people in your life, so if this helps, I think it’s just the greatest thing in the world,” Osborn said.
All the proceeds will go to the purchase of grief materials for families with loved ones in hospice care.
