NORMAL – Police in Normal are investigating a report of gunshots that struck a house on Tuesday night and are trying to determine if the incident is connected to a man who was hospitalized with a gunshot wound.

Police were called to the 300 block of East Vernon Avenue shortly after 8:30 p.m. A one-story home was hit by gunfire several times. Police said no one in the home was injured and they don’t believe the home was the intended target of the gunfire.

No arrests have been made.

Bloomington Police also report shots fired in the 700 block of West Graham Street at about 10 p.m. Tuesday, but say there are no reports of any injuries or damage.

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
