EUREKA – The Woodford County Coroner said two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in rural Roanoke.
Police say Brenda Carlson, 47, of LaRose drove her car through a stop sign while heading northbound at the intersection of 1800 East and 1800 North roads and collided with an eastbound car driven by Ronald Cregier, 68, of Hoffman Estates.
Coroner Tim Ruestman said both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Ruestman said autopsies will be conducted to determine if a medical event played a part in the accident.
