BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis has identified the Bloomington man who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Normal last night.

Davis said Richard A. Jones, 41, died from multiple blunt injuries after his motorcycle crashed into a concrete barrier at East Raab Road and North Pointe Drive. The crash happened around 6:50, with Jones being pronounced dead about an hour later.

The crash is being investigated by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Normal Police Department, with toxicology results pending. Normal Police said evidence obtained at the scene led investigators to believe alcohol or drugs may have been involved.
