Teenager hurt in a hit and run crash in southwest Bloomington

Bloomington Police are investigating a hit and run accident Monday night on the city’s southwest side that injured a teenage bicyclist. Police are looking for the driver of a white-colored van.

(BLOOMINGTON) Bloomington police are investigating a hit and run crash that injured a teenage bicyclist on the city’s southwest side.

The collision happened about 8:30 Monday night in the 1400 block of Six Points Rd., near Timber View Dr.

Police said the driver of a white-colored van hit the bicycle and drove off.

The teenager was taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, then transferred to a Peoria hospital. The victim’s condition was not available.

Police said they have not located a suspect or the vehicle.
