Police look for second suspect in Schlotzsky’s hold-up

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington police are releasing details of a Friday night robbery at a local restaurant, and seeking the public’s help to find a second suspect.

Police said Jalun Caddell, 19, of Ypsilanti, Michigan was one of two men armed with a knife who entered Schlotzsky’s Deli on IAA Dr., beat an employee, and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said they found another employee wrestling one of the suspects near the intersection of IAA and Rowe Dr.

Two Schlotzsky’s workers refused medical treatment while Caddell was treated for injuries at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.

Caddell faces an armed robbery charge, while police search for the other man. Police said he’s a black male and approximately 25-to-30 years old.
