Man from Normal to face arson charges for vehicle fire

BLOOMINGTON – A man from Normal is being extradited back to McLean County to face arson charges.

Bloomington Police say officers with the U.S. Marshal’s Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Larry Olson, 62, in Lee County, Florida on Friday.

The charges stem from a vehicle fire in the 400 block of North Veterans Parkway last September.

BPD said while an arrest has been made, the investigation is considered ongoing.
