BLOOMINGTON – Corn Belt Energy plans to distribute $9 million in credits to its members.
The energy cooperative’s leaders formally announced the retired capital credits during its 79th annual business meeting on Friday in Bloomington. The credits begin in August. Credits are returned to members periodically as the cooperative’s financial condition allows. Nearly $40 million has been distributed to members since the cooperative was formed in 1938.
More than 1,400 Corn Belt Energy members and families attended the annual meeting at Central Catholic High School.
