BLOOMINGTON – Jaylen Beasley couldn’t find his practice jersey but he sure found his game.
Sporting number 25 instead of his usual 5, the junior from Bloomington scored seven points, including a thunderdous alley-oop dunk as Illinois Wesleyan rolled to an 87-64 thumping of Carroll in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin battle.

Colin Bonnett led five Titans in double figures with a career-high 22 points, including 4-of-6 three-pointers as IWU stormed out to a 52-29 lead on Andy Stempel’s beyond halfcourt shot.
Nick Coleman poured in 12 points on 4-of-5 from deep and added a team-high 6 assists. IWU connected on 14-of-27 from beyond the arc in improving to 14-6 on the season, 6-5 in the CCIW.
Wesleyan will host Elmhurst on Wednesday.
IWU women
Molly McGraw scored 12 points and the Titans forced 36 turnovers as the Titans stormed to an 85-45 win over Carroll in the annual “Pink Zone” game.
The Titans outscored the Pioneers 40-15 in the second half in improving to 14-6, 9-2 in the CCIW.
