BLOOMINGTON – McLean County prosecutors have filed attempted murder charges against a Bloomington man who allegedly stabbed two people during a confrontation on Saturday night.
Levi Gray, 36, made his first court appearance in McLean County court on Monday. He is being held on a $3 million bond.
Prosecutors say Gray stabbed a woman repeatedly with a knife in the Maple Grove Estates mobile home park where the woman was visiting a friend. A man who lived in the home she was visiting was stabbed in the chest and stomach. Gray reportedly had called the woman to return some property to her and drove to the home in a minivan, which police say they found near the scene.
Police say they recovered a large knife near the scene.
