LeRoy investigating ‘financial irregularities’ at Relex fitness center

LeROY – LeRoy is investigating financial irregularities in the accounts of the LeRoy Replex fitness and recreation facilty.

A press release from the LeRoy Park District Board said they first learned of the issue Tuesday.  The board said an employee of the Replex has been let go and an investigation is underway to determine whether more than one person was involved.

The McLean County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation.

The board added an independent accounting firm is being brought in to conduct an audit of the Replex’s accounts.
