Home Sweet Home providing meals on Thanksgiving

BLOOMINGTON – Home Sweet Home Minitries is continuing its tradition of providing a Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving day.

Communications Coordinator Leslie Bunge said more than 160 volunteers signed up serve the over 100 meals on Thursday.

“That’s very impressive,” said Bunge. “We’re just blown away by all the community support and how everyone, from families to individuals, are just jumping on board to help out in any way that they can.”

Prior to Thursday, Home Sweet Home already completed its annual Give Thanks campaign. Bunge explained through the successful campaign they were able to distribute 2,015, impacting over 11,000 individuals.
