BLOOMINGTON – With anticipation building for a Cubs win tonight, local police are ready for any celebrations that get out of control.
McLean County Sheriff Jon Sandage says law breaking will not be allowed.
“We’ve already met with local law enforcement and we have a plan in place should there be a crowd control type situation….if they win,” said Sandage.
Sandage says he’s not a big baseball fan, but has been watching the Cubs with the historic nature of the games.
He says extra police will be on patrol.
