BLOOMINGTON – Sign-up for Toys for Tots and holiday food baskets take place next week. Salvation Army Spokeswoman Angie Fulton said there is a lot of need in the area with 1200 food baskets given out last year and around 6000 toys handed out.
“Each year we register people in the community for our Christmas assistance program,” said Fulton. “That includes a food basket that we give out around Christmas time. We also partner with Toys for Tots and so our sign-ups allow people to take part in Toys for Tots.”
Sign up is November 4th and 5th at 611 west Washington Street in Bloomington. You will need to bring identification and income information when you register.
