BLOOMINGTON – Police have made an arrest after a report of shots fired early Thursday morning.
Bloomington Police say a man told police someone shot at him near the intersection of Morris Avenue and Hamilton Road in the southwest part of the city at about 2:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Police recovered several shell casings from the scene and arrested a 37-year-old Bloomington man who they say had the gun that was used in the shooting. Corey Franklin faces a preliminary charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and a felony count of unlawful use of a weapon.
It’s not known what led to the incident or whether the two men knew each other.
