BLOOMINGTON – COUNTRY Financial has its team out in force to help handle losses suffered by Hurricane Matthew.
Spokesman Chris Stroisch said when it comes to hurricanes, COUNTRY plans ahead as much as possible.
“We’d rather be over prepared than under prepared for a storm like this,” said Stroisch. “But this is a record breaking storm for this area of the country, so we do have a large presence ready to respond to our customers when they need us.”
Stroisch added the main focus for COUNTRY during the storm is Georgia.
“What used to be one of our regional offices is actually in Georgia,” said Stroisch. “So we have a large customer base in that state.”
Stroisch added they are working with the Red Cross to find any ways COUNTRY can assist.
