LINCOLN – The driver of a semi was hospitalized after his tractor trailer flipped while trying to turn off of Interstate 55 in Logan County.
Illinois State Police say a semi driven by Henry Neuman, 32, of Springfield was traveling on the ramp from I-55 northbound to Illinois Route 10 in Lincoln at about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the semi was traveling too fast to navigate the ramp and overturned.
Neuman was taken to a local hospital. His condition is not available. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
