HEYWORTH – People dressed as clowns have been scaring parents and children across the country and McLean County is no different.
Lisa Hinshaw of Fun Faces and Happy Times in Heyworth works as a clown at parties.
She said what has been happening is hurting her business.
“No, it’s not good, it’s really sick,” said Hinshaw. “It’s hard on those of us, who are trying to portray a wholesome and fun art form.”
Hinshaw recommends hiring clowns who are members of professional organizations to make sure they are legitimate.
