Police investigate fatal hit-and-run in Livingston County

REDDICK – Police in Livingston County are investigating a fatal hit and run.

The Livingston County Coroner’s Office said a 23-year-old Braceville man died after he was hit by a car, while walking along Illinois Route 17 in the northern Livingston County town of Reddick at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday.  The victim’s name has not been released yet.

Illinois State Police are assisting Livingston County authorities in the investigation.
