NORMAL – Homecoming Week at Illinois State University has arrived, as has a new way to keep track of the week’s events.
ISU’s Rachel Kobus said there are online and mobile ways for you to find the schedule and other information.
“The web site is homecoming.illinoisstate.edu,” Kobus told WJBC’s Scott Laughlin, “and our app is free for any smartphone. Just search for Homecoming 2016 and you’re going to have the schedule right there on your hip or wherever you put your phone.”
Activities include Friday’s crowning of the Homecoming king and queen followed by the annual Hoopfest at Redbird Arena featuring the women’s and men’s basketball teams. The 5K and parade are on Saturday morning and the football game against Youngstown State kicks off at 2 p.m.
