FORREST – An elderly Livingston County woman was killed in a two-car crash near Forrest on Wednesday.
Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson said a 2003 Buick Park Avenue driven by Dorothy Trainor, 86, collided with a UPS delivery truck on a County Road 2900 East northeast of Forrest in Pleasant Ridge Township at about 2:20 p.m.
Watson said Trainor had stopped at a stop sign and then proceeded into an intersection when her vehicle collided with the truck.
Trainor was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was treated at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office.
