BLOOMINGTON – There is a lot of pressure on Illinois lawmakers to pass a balanced budget when they return for the fall veto session.
State Senator Bill Brady tells WJBC’s Dan Swaney lawmakers must continue working together just as they did when passing the stop gap budget.
“Then let’s not lose focus, let’s work on a package that works for everybody,”said Brady. “There’s no question on my mind that we can do that if the politics are set aside.”
Lawmakers are expected to return to Springfield on November 15th.
