SPRINGFIELD – It was a first for Bruce Rauner.
The first-term governor held a town hall style event on Facebook on Facebook. The Republican appeared on a live video chat of the social media platform to take questions from the hundreds that tuned in.
The questions were selected by his communications team. During the event he addressed charter schools, criminal sentencing reform and his final question was what do you like about being governor.
